Hong Kong Spinal and Sports Therapy Centre (HKSSTC), established in 2004, provides treatment services for pain management, spinal disorders, and sports injuries. In 2013, we expanded to include exercise therapy, stretch therapy, craniosacral therapy, and foot orthotics, adding exercise therapy facilities to become a one-stop physiotherapy and sports therapy centre.
We specialize in treating various types of pain, such as sciatica, herniated discs, sports injury, scoliosis, kyphosis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, arthritis, back pain, bone spurs, and repetitive Strain Injury. Our services are managed by registered physiotherapists.
Our centre applies a medical philosophy that integrates Traditional Chinese and Western medicine, using Physiotherapy and Spinal therapy as a foundation, combined with manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise, foot orthotics, and relaxation therapy to address the root causes of various problems, promote the body's natural recovery, and achieve holistic wellness—feeling good and regaining vitality.
Eastern and Western therapies each have their strengths. We firmly believe that no single therapy can cure all ailments; appropriately combining various Chinese and Western therapies is indeed a new trend in medicine.
Our therapists and coaches are all professionally qualified and skillfully utilize various Chinese and Western therapies to help everyone improve their health.

We oppose traditional "pain-relieving" therapies and "one-size-fits-all" treatments. These piecemeal approaches are often ineffective.
We target the root cause of pain, promoting the patient's self-healing abilities.
While alleviating symptom, we utilize scientific exercise therapy to improve posture, muscle strength, and work endurance, helping everyone improve their overall well-being.
We place particular emphasis on long-term health maintenance, correcting unhealthy lifestyle habits and postures, and building a positive life.
Mental and brain relaxation, quality sleep, and proper breathing… these are the goals of our therapy and the secrets to helping you achieve mental and physical relaxation.
We mainly use manual correction methods to address the root cause of pain.
Unless stiff joints are mobilized and misaligned joints are corrected, pain is difficult to recover from.
When pain sufferers receive treatment, it's essential to incorporate scientifically designed exercise to strengthen muscles and improve flexibility; otherwise, sustained improvement is difficult to achieve.
We teach therapeutic exercises, including:
Muscle strengthening
Balance training
Joint coordination
Learning to use simple equipment, such as rubber bands and massage balls, allows you to easily exercise at home.
Tightness and pressure in fascia, muscles, and joints cause pain. Our registered stretch therapists help you loosen your muscles and improve flexibility, and more importantly, improve posture.
We utilize scientific acupuncture therapy that is safe, gentle, and painless. It relaxes tense soft tissues and muscles, improves blood circulation in the affected area, and balances energy.
Various physiotherapy instruments (such as ultrasound, interferential wave electrotherapy, spinal traction therapy, etc.) are used to assist in the treatment of various symptoms.
Orthotic insoles correct foot deformities such as flat feet, high arches, and hallux valgus.
Once foot shape is improved, many lower limb, foot, and spinal problems become easier to recover from.
CST aims to release tension in the nervous system, allowing the body's systems to relax, adjust, and recover. CST relaxes the body's deep fascial system, improves the function of the nervous, endocrine, and digestive systems, enhances the body's self-healing abilities, optimizes physical and mental well-being, and promotes a feeling of ease and comfort.
Poor joint mobility
Joint misalignment, spinal misalignment
Myofascial/joint tightness
Muscle imbalance
Nerve compression
Tissue injury
Nervous system compression and disorder
Imbalance of the body's meridians, etc.
And not the overly generalized causes commonly believed to be "inflammation of unknown cause," "degeneration," "bone spurs," or "cartilage wear ."
For over 20 years, we have provided educational courses or consulting services to the following organizations:

I am 25 years old. In 2022, I suffered an anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus tear. After surgery, I did not complete proper physiotherapy.
In 2024, I started experiencing pain in the outer meniscus area of my knee. I later found Physiotherapist David, who used an integrated Chinese-Western approach to relieve my pain and rebuild my knee strength. It was highly effective and gave me back my confidence—I can now engage in intense sports again!
I accidentally sprained my ankle, unfortunately just 3 weeks before an ice skating competition. I had seen various practitioners but saw no improvement—walking was still painful.
When I was extremely worried, I was fortunate to meet Physiotherapist Mr. Tai. After just two weeks of treatment, I was able to resume training in time and make it to the competition as planned. Thank you, David.
I have suffered from chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain for many years. I’ve tried numerous treatments, but none of them were effective, and the pain kept recurring. Recently, I also sustained a neck injury during exercise, which left my neck and back stiff and painful, making it difficult to fall asleep at night.
Thanks to a colleague’s recommendation, I went to HKSSTC for help. Through David’s integrated Chinese-Western therapies—including acupuncture, spinal manipulation, and with the attentive care of stretch therapist Bruce—the results were remarkably significant even after the first session. The stiffness and pain in my neck and back subsided considerably.
I am truly grateful to David and Bruce for their patience and follow-up care.
David, thank you for your treatment over these past few months. I no longer suffer from the dizziness and shoulder-neck pain caused by cervical spine issues—my mind and body feel much lighter and more at ease. I appreciate that throughout the treatment, you not only demonstrated your expertise in physiotherapy but also took care to engage with and guide my emotional well-being, providing holistic care for both body and soul. Thank you!
I had pain in my knee, but luckily I met David. He taught me a simple exercise—really simple—and after doing it consistently for two weeks, the pain is gone. Thank you, David!
I strained my wrist while practicing Muay Thai. Even small movements like wringing a towel or opening a bottle cap were painful, so I came to see David (David and sports therapist Derek had previously treated my right shoulder injury successfully—thank you 🙏).
David used manipulation and acupuncture. After just three sessions, I felt about 80% better. Looking forward to a full recovery!
The therapists at the clinic are professional and don't push patients to buy packages. Their techniques are top-notch, targeting the root cause of pain. Previously, I sprained my heel and it healed completely after just 3 sessions.
I also recommended my son, who had track-and-field leg and back injuries, to go to them for physiotherapy. He recovered quickly, and we now go for regular maintenance—all at a reasonable price.
As a guitarist, my hands are more precious to me than life itself. About a year ago, my hands started to feel numb and weak. I even lost the strength to pull the brake lever when riding my motorcycle. Eventually, I had to give up my hobby of playing the guitar, and worse still, it seriously affected my work.
After consulting several doctors, I was on the verge of deciding to undergo surgery. Then, by chance, I met David. Through his diagnosis, he identified that the root cause of my problem was actually in my cervical spine. After some manual therapy sessions, I noticed a significant reduction in the symptoms in my hands. With subsequent exercise therapy, my condition has clearly improved.
About a month ago, I was hit by a car in a traffic accident, resulting in a fracture of my right arm. After wearing a splint for 3 weeks, I started physiotherapy at the centre. After just 3 sessions, my right arm had already regained over 85% of its mobility. The centre used various therapies, including manual therapy, stretching, and equipment for relaxation, and also taught me suitable exercises to strengthen my muscles—greatly improving my pain condition. Thank you to the physiotherapy team and all the assistants for helping me heal.
